“I liked the grounded presence ramelcy brings. Our interactions felt purposeful. I could rely on ramelcy holding their roles in a liberatory values-rooted way. They are strong at teaming while being aware of the whole team and whole project. ramelcy is also a warm, kind and deep person and that's good to be around!
We had 12 folks flying in and out of San Juan on the north of PR to transport to a more remote south coast venue. ramelcy was attentive and relational in how they met traveler energy, held folks, and got everyone where they needed to be while also being our point person with a local transportation business. Another highlight was ramelcy as our primary point of connection to local PR artists and musicians in an event design that valued cultural grounding. Twice musical groups had to cancel last minute, and ramelcy was gracious and able to tap into abundance to find musicians that could be with the group. She also brought in her language justice skills to help the participants connect with the cultural knowledge that the musicians wanted to share. A third highlight was taking a group excursion to the closest small town that doesn't have a lot of tourism infrastructure. ramelcy was creative and patient with the emergent nature of that excursion and teamed with me to make it work.” - Principal

During the preparation, onsite, and post-event, ramelcy brings the CO in collaboration and coordination. “ramelcy brings a wonderful balance of levity, concern about quality, movement knowledge and care to your work. They consistently delivered on commitments without needing to be micro managed, which helped build a lot of trust. It was easy and fun to brainstorm and thought-partner with them, and they were patient with me when needed. They really seemed to care about the work and the people involved beyond the hours or tasks prescribed in the contract. I would describe ramelcy as an all-around generous collaborator.” - Co-Executive Director
